To build up an ideal democracy, the preamble emphasizes Justice, Liberty, Equality as political ideals. The ideals of Justice implies a system where an individual can realize their faith in potentialities. The ideals of Liberty ensure freedom which makes men free. Liberty means the liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith, and worship. This concept of liberty is essentially political in nature.
The wordings and ideals of the Preamble to the Constitution are so good. It expresses the spirit of the Constitution. It provides a suitable atmosphere for the People. It keeps the people away from Untouchability. According to Pandit Thakur Das Bhargava, “The Preamble is the most precious part of the Constitution. It is the soul of the Constitution. It is the proper yardstick with which one can measure the worth of the Constitution.”
The Preamble of the Constitution has the following features:-
Firstly, the Preamble may be regarded as the key to understand the motives and intensions of the makers of the Constitution.
Secondly, it express the Socio-economic and political values which this Constitution intends to promote.
Thirdly, the Preamble is not a part of the Constitution from the stick legal point of view. But the Preamble serves as a guide to the Understanding of the Spirit of the Constitution by the appropriate interpretation of various provisions of the Constitution by the judges of different Courts.

Finally, it may be said that the whole of the Constitution of India may be regarded as an elaboration and explanation of the Preamble.
