Agnipath Scheme: What is it?
The revolutionary Agnipath scheme for the recruitment of young people into the Indian Armed Forces, who would be known as Agniveers following induction, was authorised by the Union Cabinet on June 14, 2022, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Agnipath Recruitment Eligibility in the Indian Army 2022
Candidates will be enlisted under the Army Act of 1950 for a total of four (04), including the training phase, years of service. Agnivesers who enrol in this way will be bound by the Army Act of 1950 and obligated to follow orders to travel by land, sea, or air wherever they are directed. Any type of Pension or Gratuity will not be available to Agniveers engaged in the programme.

What is Agnipath Scheme?
The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 14th June 2022 approved the transformative Agnipath scheme for the recruitment of youth in the Indian Armed Forces who after induction will be referred to as Agniveers. The Agnipath Scheme is a major defence policy reform in the Human Resource Policy of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Indian Army Agnipath Recruitment Eligibility 2022
Candidates will be enrolled under Army Act 1950 for a service duration of four (04) years including the training period. Agniveers so enrolled will be subject to Army Act, 1950 and will be liable to go wherever ordered, by land, sea, or air. Agniveers enrolled under the scheme, will not be eligible for any kind of Pension or Gratuity.

Educational Qualifications

Indian Army Agnipath Application Process 2022: How to Apply
- Every applicant must sign in to joinindianarmy.nic.in to verify their eligibility and set up a profile. Beginning in July 2022, applicants can register online and submit their applications.

Anyone who is discovered to have enrolled for more than one trade or category will be rejected and will not be given consideration for any trades or categories. All crucial messages, such as being shortlisted, a call letter, joining instructions, results, etc., will be sent to this email address or mobile number. Email ID and mobile number sharing are prohibited. For future usage, keep the User Name and Password in mind. (ARO won’t be liable for not receiving the needed information if the candidate’s provided email or mobile number is inaccurate or altered.
- Complete all fields precisely as they appear on the Matriculation/10th Class Board Certificate, including the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, and DOB.
Important Note
Army recruitment is a complimentary service. Since hiring is done solely on the basis of merit, candidates are encouraged not to pay bribes to anyone. At every stage of the hiring process, the selection process is transparent and computerised.
