Arvind Kejriwal was the youngest Chief Minister of Delhi and a controversial Indian politician. He is the National Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party. He is well known for resigning from as CM of Delhi for not being able to pass Jan Lokpal Bill. Before being the Chief Minister, he ran an NGO called Parivartan to address citizens’ grievances related to Public Distribution System (PDS), public works, social welfare schemes, income tax, and electricity. People used to know Kejriwal for his public services and he got the limelight at the time of Anna Hazare Movement over corruption.

Kejriwal also serves the country as a Joint Commissioner in the Income Tax department. He wrote a book named as ‘Swaraj’ which explains local self-governance and decentralization of administration. His bold movement raises an act that we now come across as Right to Information Act. Arvind Kejriwal an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, B. Tech in mechanical engineer. He was selected for the Indian Revenue Services.


Arvind Kejriwal is also famous for controversies. During his chief minister’s tenure, he blames a lot of politicians on the charges of corruption and faces defamation cases also.
